Camellia


I'm calling it a mini quilt (16 inch square), but it is actually meant to be one block in a quilt, from Kumiko Sudo's book, East Quilts West.  Hand pieced and appliqued.

Either mini of used for bigger one it is Spring colourful :-)) I love it ! the combinations of circle and HST is suggestive and beautiful.

Wow what a lovely block....ahem..mini quilt! I had seen a similar idea many years ago but in peaches and yellows. I like your color choices.........
